Ministry Headquarters is a Christian nonprofit that is centered around serving God through service to others in His name.  HQ is here to serve you, whether you are an individual in need, a church, a nonprofit, or otherwise.  If you’d like to know more about what we do, and what we could do for you, below are some examples of the types of work we “commit to the Lord” (Proverbs 16:3) here at HQ!

Ministry Headquarters (HQ) has a legacy of raising up youth, and through faith and service, transforming their lives in the name of Christ.  We wholeheartedly believe in the importance of providing a safe, nurturing spiritual environment for youth in a world mired by sin, a place where they can come and be themselves and for a short time not have to worry about the struggles they face each day.  To that end, HQ continues to facilitate a youth group in Philadelphia, PA every week, and has also opened a weekly youth group in Berlin, NJ.  HQ’s youth program is founded on the importance of putting on the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and living a life of service to God (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Ministry Headquarters currently goes on two mission trips every summer: one to Rochester, NY, and one to Columbia, SC.  HQ’s mission trips are amazing opportunities for both adults and members of HQ’s youth groups to put the Bible into action.  Our trips often consist of daily Bible clubs, street evangelism, neighborhood prayer, nursing home visits, and more.  We typically also do work projects, such as painting houses, building playgrounds, assisting with church renovations, digging nature trails, creating outdoor learning spaces, or even simple yardwork.  One of the greatest parts of our trips, however, is the time we spend in fellowship and Bible study together, growing as a unit in the Body of Christ.  You can get a glimpse of the work we have done in the past in the videos below!

One of Ministry Headquarters’ biggest outreaches every year is our Vacation Bible School program.  HQ has a long history of doing a wide variety of Bible clubs (we have even done one day Bible clubs on someone’s porch before!), and we are always excited to see God working in the lives of the children we encounter along the way.  HQ’s VBS program is built on a skeleton that has been fine-tuned from years of experience, and our curriculum (Bible lessons, memory verses, daily themes, etc.) are written in-house, so you are guaranteed a unique experience.  We do single-day Bible clubs, we do 5-day VBS programs—we do it all, and we do it for the goal of serving local churches or communities who can’t afford a traditional VBS program, or who don’t have the volunteer manpower to successfully put one on.   Learn more by watching the video below!

Serving the local community is a top priority here at Ministry Headquarters.  We often partner up with other local nonprofit organizations, such as Advocates for the Homeless and Those in Need and the Whosoever Gospel Mission, to help further their success through local outreach.  HQ is highly invested in reaching out to the local youth and homeless populations through various service projects throughout the year.  We also often partner up with local churches and nursing homes to assist with their outreach events whenever they need us, or even to minister to individuals with great needs through yard work, house work, heavy lifting, Christmas carols, or an encouraging visit.  Check out the pictures below to get a better look at some of the community work we do here at HQ!
